Coaching & Support for Educators

Personalized support for home childcare providers and home school educators seeking calmer environments, outdoor classroom guidance, sustainable teaching practices, and more intentional learning spaces.
After experiencing burnout myself, I rebuilt my approach, philosophy, and intention. I created environments that supported my nerves, children's development, play urges, and play patterns, and I set boundaries and took my house back.  Today, my methods are sustainable both indoors and outdoors and support the whole child while anchoring the educator.  After years of doing the work and pivoting, I now help educators do the same before they lose themselves in the work they once loved.

Hello, I’m Suzette Salmon — founder of Edulallie, owner of Lil Bebe Academy, early years educator since 2009, author, conference speaker, and professional development coach.

After spending years pouring endlessly into others while running my home childcare program, I experienced deep burnout that eventually led me to walk away from the field I loved so much. Like many educators, I reached a point where I felt physically exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, and disconnected from the joy that once guided my work.

But even during that break, I longed for the work.

I missed the wonder of childhood, the relationships, the laughter, the outdoor discoveries, and the meaningful rhythm of educating young children. I knew I could not return the same way I had been working before. Something had to change.

That journey led me to slowly rebuild my environment, my systems, my teaching philosophy, and my relationship with the work itself. It also led me to write my book, Overcoming Home Daycare Burnout: Steps to Living Your Best Life, to help other educators recognize the signs of burnout before reaching their breaking point.

Today, I help educators like you create calmer environments, more sustainable teaching practices, intentional outdoor learning spaces, and rhythms that support both the child and the educator.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, emotionally exhausted, or on the verge of leaving the field altogether, these coaching sessions are designed to help you pause, reflect, and begin rebuilding in a more sustainable way — without losing the heart of why you started this work in the first place.

What Others Are Saying

“I had the opportunity to attend a Zoom session with Ms. Sue about opening a daycare, and it was incredibly insightful. She shared so many valuable resources and explained everything in great detail. I learned so much in such a short time. Her book is also an excellent resource—after reading it, I gained the confidence and motivation to pursue opening my own daycare. The Zoom session felt just as rich and resourceful as her book. It was truly an honor to meet you, Ms. Sue!”- Souade

“Getting accepted into Lil Bebe Academy was one of the best decisions for our family. Miss Sue fosters an individual relationship with every child and creates an environment where children truly flourish. Our daughters have become more confident, curious, and deeply connected to nature through her approach to outdoor learning.” - JG

This book was so inspiring as an early childhood educator and as a mother of young children. I loved the beautiful photography and personal stories Miss Sue shared from her own life. This book reminded me to be present, grateful, and to keep striving toward what feels meaningful in both life and career.” - Meghan
