About Edulallie

A welcome from Suzette Salmon

I have been a home educator since December 2009. Years after tirelessly operating my daycare, I experienced burnout from the long hours, demands, low pay, and overwhelming toys in my house. I was on the brink of losing my relationship and my sanity. Desperate amidst the clutter and confusion, I made the difficult decision to reduce my daycare operations from full-time to two days a week to regain balance. This choice meant stepping back from serving my community but allowed me to prioritize my mental health.

In 2020, I wrote Overcoming Daycare Burnout: Steps to Living Your Best Life to share my story and inspire other educators to pivot and lead with intention. Today, I operate a transparent business and inspire other home educators through courses, consultations, and speaking engagements. I help educators make meaningful transitions and transform their teaching practices.

As the sole owner and operator of Edulallie, you will find me actively running my home childcare business daily from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. My schedule allows me to be available for my own children's schooling and activities. I understand your daily struggles because I'm living them with you. I'm in the trenches, working alongside you every single day. Today, I share courses, webinars, workshops, and resources with home educators to help them avoid burnout, recover from it, and intentionally operate a successful business they love and are proud to open their doors to every day.

After hitting burnout, I rebuilt my life and business by embracing child-led learning, calming environments, and simplified systems. Now, I am here to help you do the same.

At Edulallie, my mission is simple: Small Steps, Beautiful Transformation.
